General Manager

Clear Lake Community Service Cooperative Inc./Camp Wannakumbac is actively seeking to fill the position of General Manager(s) beginning September 2026.   The position includes all administrative functions required for our non-profit cooperative, hosting groups, cooking, cleaning, oversight of policies, and oversight of staff.  A detailed position description is available on this website.

The position can be filled by an individual or by a couple.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

CB1.  BASE WAGE

1.  $68,000 – $82,000 per annum, based on contract agreement. In the event of two individuals sharing the position, the split in the wage will be determined by the General Managers and may change from year to year.

CB2.  OTHER MONETARY COMPENSATION

1. A Performance bonus that is determined as per CLCSC Board of Directors’ Guidelines and dispensed as applicable yearly.
2. Pension in addition to the base salary, that is to be invested at the discretion of the General Manager(s).

CB3.  ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

1. Accommodations (A renovated home, privately located on property that includes vaulted ceilings, a view of Clear Lake, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a walk-out basement.  Appliances included).
2. Utilities: Hydro, Sewer, Water, and Wi-Fi.
3. Cell phone allowance.
4. Meal and fuel expenses that are required to carry out the business of the organization.
5. Flexible work schedule, based on group bookings.
6. Three to five (3 – 5) weeks paid vacation per year, based on contract agreement.

CB4.  TRAINING

1. The General Manager(s) in conjunction with the CLCSC Board of Directors will plan for any professional development as may be required to manage the operation.
