Recycle Everywhere Brand Ambassador

A Recycle Everywhere Brand Ambassador’s primary goal is to promote and educate the public on the importance of beverage container recycling to help achieve Manitoba’s beverage container recovery rate goal. As part of a team, and with an upbeat, positive, and outgoing nature, you will attend sporting and community events across the province to engage with the public, speaking to many people every shift. Leveraging games, promotional giveaways, exciting contests and more, you will help individuals understand why recycling is crucial to Manitoba’s long-term sustainability. 

Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill
• English proficiency, fluency in a second language is considered an asset
• Ability and willingness to work as part of a team
• Enthusiasm for environmental sustainability and recycling initiatives
• Able to take initiative, problem solve, exercise tact and discretion
• Ability to engage with diverse audiences in a friendly and approachable manner
• Comfortable with public speaking and interacting with the public
• Reliability and punctuality
• Comfortable with using social media platforms
• Willingness to travel throughout Manitoba as required
• Basic knowledge of recycling practices is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License (personal driver’s abstract is required)
• Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record Check
• Lifting to 50lbs and standing for long periods of time
• Valid First Aid and CPR preferred (training provided if needed)
