League Coordinator

The Opportunity

We are looking for a League Coordinator to oversee anddeliver all aspects of our adult and youth hockey leagues, from ice scheduling to staffing and game day coordination.Reporting to the Director of Hockey and Ice Programs, thisrole plays a key part in building community through sport bymanaging league operations, supporting players andofficials, and fostering a welcoming, well-run environment fo,rcompetitive and recreational play.

What you’ll do

Plan and coordinate hockey leagues, including scheduling, iceallocation, and game-day logistics.Act as the main contact, handling registrations, payments, andinquiries.Hire and schedule game officials.Administer league discipline and assist in evaluating refereesand timekeepers.Collaborate with the Director on marketing, promotions, andsponsorships.Assist with tournament planning and delivery.Track participation and revenue, implementing growth strategies.Provide leadership to part-time and contracted staff.What you bringExperience coordinating leagues, programs, or tournaments.Strong knowledge of ice sports operations, league structure, andgame-day needs.Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.Tech-savvy with the ability to use databases and MS Office. A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach.Ability to lead, collaborate, and handle challenging situations.Experience with budgeting and contract administration.High attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellentservice to participants and staff.
