Job Title: Operations Administrator 

Reports to: Executive Director 

Supervises: None 

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, some evening and weekend work required. A flex time agreement will be in place. 

Location: Recreation Manitoba office, Sport for Life Centre (shared office); hybrid arrangement. 

Starting Salary Range: $47,000 - $52,000 (Step 1-3), on a 10 step wage scale

JOB OVERVIEW  

We are seeking an organized and proactive Operations Administrator to serve as the organization’s hub and first point of contact for all inquiries from members and stakeholders and the logistical coordinator for all programs and services. This position plays a crucial role in managing daily office operations, data management, and supporting the organization’s membership administration.  The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks with a focus on efficiency while providing excellent service and communication. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Administration, Accounting or related field or an acceptable combination of post-secondary education and experience. 
  • At least two years’ experience providing clerical and administrative support in an office setting. 
  • Experience with program delivery, logistics, and handling the setup/tear down details. 
  • Strong communication skills to a broad audience, both written and verbal, with a comfort using a variety of office software applications including Office 365 applications (including SharePoint, MS Teams), QuickBooks (or similar accounting software), and other relevant web-based software systems. Experience with Wild Apricot is an asset. 
  • Experience in membership management or office coordination is preferred.
