Reporting to Dakota’s CEO and as a key member of the Centre’s senior management team, the Director Programming & Operations plays a central role in directing and overseeing the effective operations and management of key aspects of Dakota’s facilities, its sport, recreation & fitness programs, its people, customers and services to ensure the overall success of the Centre. Leading a team of skilled Managers & Staff, the Director plays a significant part in the planning and oversight of day-to-day operations of DCC, as well as the development, implementation and management of successful initiatives and programming. Responsibilities include, leadership, budgeting, planning, organizing, and overseeing all aspects of operations/venue, health and safety training and customer management for the Centre and its activities, as well as programs and operations with the view to continuous improvement and growth opportunities for the Centre. This role will be responsible for collaborating with the Centre’s teams and bringing together all aspects of the facilities operations with the goal of program, safety and service excellence for the Centre, its customers and community.
